Birmingham YMCA is celebrating the opening of its newest day nursery. Based in the Sundridge Children’s Centre in Kingstanding, Birmingham, the new nursery is the fifth to be opened by Birmingham YMCA and the third in the past two years.
Birmingham YMCA won the contract to manage the purpose-built facility following a competitive tendering process. Nursery staff will be working in partnership with Children’s Centre staff when the new centre opens fully in the New Year.
Birmingham YMCA's growing reputation in this area has been cemented by requests to take over the management of two further nurseries in the city next year. Discussions and feasibility studies are ongoing.
