There will be a sleep out on Friday 19th March/Saturday 20th March on the Maurice Lea Memorial Park in Church Gresley. Councillor Pat Murray and his consort will themselves be sleeping out and are doing their bit to promote the event.
As it’s on the park and there is very little cover – we’re offering pitches to groups/associations for up to 10 people to camp. Therefore if a charity books a pitch we collect the pitch fee and they have the option to raise money for themselves.
19 young people (residents, volunteers, staff) and 22 Chairs, Board Members, CEOs and Senior Staff from 11 YMCAs met together at Ramada Hotel in Sutton Coldfield for the annual Midlands Conference. The event focussed on inter-generational issues, servant-leadership and working together.
